Explore Tiner's Fish House

Introducing Tiner's Fish House, I always like to describe it as one of those places you don’t stumble upon by accident but remember long after you’ve visited. Tucked away at 37 Cotton Ave in Blakely, Georgia, this quaint, off-the-beaten-path spot has a humble exterior that gives little hint of the experience waiting inside. The atmosphere feels welcoming and unpretentious, the kind of small-town fish house where the focus is squarely on doing food right and treating people well. From the moment you walk in, the staff’s friendliness stands out, with attentive, fast-moving servers who keep things flowing smoothly even when the line stretches out the door. That line, often long, speaks volumes about the quality coming out of the kitchen, and it moves quicker than expected thanks to an efficient team working with genuine smiles. The food is the real star here, especially the fried offerings, which are consistently praised for their flavor and freshness. The fried items are crisp without being greasy, with chicken tenders that are juicy and satisfying, paired with a standout homemade honey-mustard sauce that elevates every bite. Hush puppies are another highlight, golden and flavorful, rounding out meals that feel indulgent but balanced. Portions are thoughtfully sized-enough to leave you satisfied without feeling overdone-and the prices remain refreshingly economical, making it easy to enjoy a full meal without hesitation. There’s a clear sense that care goes into every dish, from the chef’s work behind the scenes to the way each plate is served. Many visitors find themselves returning quickly to try more of the menu, even if it means a bit of a drive, because the combination of great food, efficient service, and genuine hospitality makes Tiner’s Fish House feel like a place worth seeking out again and again.

Quaint little restaurant off a side street, off the beaten path. Services were great, the food was amazing, and the waitresses were fast & friendly. Prices were very economical, and portions were just right without being too much. The line was long (which attests to the quality of the food), but they moved everyone along swiftly and with a smile. We enjoyed it so much that we came back the next night to try something different from the menu, and we're not disappointed. We live about 35 minutes away, and it was well worth the drive. We'll definitely be back again in the near future.

Some of the tastiest fried foods I’ve ever had. Amazing chicken finders and even better homemade honey-mustard. Great hush puppies too.

The food here was amazing!! We got a little of everything, shrimp, oysters, catfish, whiting, tilapia, stuffed crab, home made coleslaw, cheese grits and okra... All of it on point!!! The staff and customers were so friendly, made us feel as though we've known them forever. Only bad thing I can say, is why do y'all have to be 3 hours away from us? If I could give 10 stars, I would!! Thank you for the wonderful food and hospitality!!
